Private Label Garment Manufacturer in Turkey for UK and EU Brands

Building a private label apparel range means finding a manufacturer that can execute your specifications consistently, communicate without friction, and deliver on a timeline that fits your buying cycle. Turkey has become the default answer to that problem for a growing number of UK and European brands, and there are concrete reasons why.
Istanbul Tekstil has produced private label garments since 1985. We are a circular knit specialist with production across Istanbul and Egypt, covering t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, polo shirts, and related knitwear. Our combined monthly capacity exceeds 600,000 units.
What Private Label Manufacturing Looks Like With Us
We work from your tech pack or from a sample you supply. If you are developing a new style, we can work with your designer to produce a factory-ready tech pack. Sampling runs 2 to 3 weeks. Once you approve, production lead times are 8 to 10 weeks from order confirmation.
Label and packaging are handled in-house. We can work with woven labels, neck prints, hang tags, and polybag specifications to your brand's requirements. No minimum on label setup once you are above the garment MOQ.
Minimum Order Quantities
MOQ is 500 pieces per style per colour. For brands running 2 to 4 styles with a core colour assortment, that puts a typical private label order in the 1,500 to 3,000 piece range. It is a workable entry point for a growing brand without committing to the 5,000-plus minimums you encounter with larger Asian suppliers.
Certifications That Matter to Your Buyers
GOTS certification covers our full production chain for organic cotton styles. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 covers all fabric going through the facility. If you sell through retail channels that require certified supply chains, we can provide documentation that satisfies standard buyer questionnaires.
EU due diligence legislation is moving in a direction that will eventually make this paperwork mandatory. Starting with a certified supplier now removes a future compliance headache.
The Cost and Customs Picture
Turkey operates under the EU Customs Union. Garments exported from Turkey to EU member states carry 0% import duty. For UK buyers post-Brexit, the UK-Turkey Trade Agreement provides equivalent tariff treatment. That alone typically saves 9 to 12 percent on landed cost compared with sourcing from outside these agreements.
FOB costs for standard cotton t-shirts run EUR 2.55 to 3.30. Organic cotton hoodies run EUR 6.70 to 8.35. These are production costs, not retail programmes, so margins for your private label business remain intact.
